Talkster is a rather innovative service that allows you 2 things: Call local rate number to call internationally and free any number from your Google Talk client. Therefore, you must have a Google Talk client for free calls.
Talkster currently supports in 34 countries, including France.
For the first time, i.e. make calls at local rate, it happens like this:
Visit http://www.talkster.com and complete the form with your name, number and the information you want. An SMS will be sent with the number to call someone at the cost of a local call, if you do not have a phone that is not a problem because the number will be displayed on the screen.
For the second use, ie make calls for free from Google Talk, it goes like this:
Open your Google Talk client, and add a new contact type numerotel@talkster.gtalk2voip.com. Then click on the number of your friend (the new contact), press the button to make a call, Talkster call your friends through Google Talk.
